Editorial Policy
Quant Decoded maintains editorial standards designed to ensure that every published article is accurate, properly sourced, and useful to practitioners. We do not publish sponsored content, promotional material, or claims that cannot be traced to verifiable sources.
Source Selection
We draw exclusively from peer-reviewed academic journals (Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Financial Analysts Journal), institutional research (AQR, MSCI, DFA, S&P Dow Jones Indices), and public datasets (Kenneth French Data Library, FRED, BIS). Every factual claim cites its source.
Confidence Ratings
Key claims in each article carry a confidence rating from 1 to 5, based on the strength of supporting evidence, replication across studies, and robustness across time periods and markets.
Fact-Checking
Each article is cross-referenced against related studies. Where data permits, we run independent analysis. All methodology is explicitly disclosed.
Review Process
Every article is reviewed and approved by our editor before publication. The reviewer checks source accuracy, claim attribution, and internal consistency.
Corrections
When we identify an error, we correct it promptly and document the change on our corrections page. Readers can report errors at corrections@quantdecoded.com.
Conflict of Interest
Team members do not hold positions in securities specifically discussed in articles at the time of publication. Quant Decoded is funded through advertising revenue.
